If you wish to take your child/children on holiday during the term, you must complete a holiday request form.

The Pupil Registration (Wales) Regulations 2010 gives headteachers discretionary power to authorize absence for family holidays during the term when parents request permission. In this school, authorisation of requests for absences which include visiting family, cultural activities or educational activities off site may be considered at the headteacher's discretion. Otherwise, our policy is not to approve holidays during the term. It should also be noted that a request for a 'Fixed Penalty Notice' will be considered if 5 or more days (10 sessions) of 'unauthorised absence' have been recorded, as well as an attendance level below 90% for the year school. until now.
